Collaboration

An exclusive, custom-designed bottle of Hennessy V.S.O.P, brought to life through a unique collaboration between the Hennessy Web3 community, the Hennessy design team and artist John P. Dessereau. The artwork—developed specifically for this project—was featured across a series of bespoke labels, packaging, and brand assets, capturing the spirit of innovation and creativity at the heart of the initiative.

In 2023, John was nominated by the web3 community FWB to collaborate and design artwork for a limited edition collector's bottle of Hennessy'sVSOP. The collaboration highlighted Hennessy's international web3 collectors community. The bottle design features cutouts from various artworks about "times of day" and "destinations" to reflect the different places around the world of these cognac lovers. This includes artworks about different kinds of dwellings, lighting, and nature. John worked with members of the Hennessy design team to curate and design the final package. He also created 75 unique labels for each bottle that, when synced, create an animation. Lastly, each collector was gifted a one-of-a-kind hand-painted cocktail by me.
