Building Compositions

Since 2016, John has created installations of cityscape buildings for a variety of exhibitions and art projects. Each building is painted on an individual canvas or piece of wood and can be rearranged into a desired composition. By allowing the elements to be repositioned, each installation becomes a unique interpretation of an urban landscape. The work reflects the ever-changing nature of cities, where architecture, communities, and experiences continuously evolve over time.
