John has always been fascinated by the waves and energy that pulse through both our technological and organic forms. Through my unique visual language, and in conversation with the traditions of Pop Art, graffiti, and comics, I aim to capture that invisible energy.

The artist sees this painting as a collection of portraits of cell phones from the past a connection to the people who once carried them and the technology of their time. They merge, blend, radiate, glow, and continue to speak to us from a not so distant past.
