"Hands of Time"

Inspired by a Paris street vendor selling used watches outside a museum, "Hands of Time" explores the relationship between travel, distance, and the passage of time. The variety of watch faces displaying different hours sparked a reflection on how people experience the same moment differently across the world.

Developed in John's New York studio, the piece examines the ways time can both connect and separate us. The artwork can be displayed from any of its four sides, offering multiple perspectives and interpretations.
